GOLFERS GUIDE
Booking Procedures
Weekday Time Sheets open 15 (fifteen) days in advance and Weekend Time Sheets open 8 (eight) days in advance. Bookings open at 09:00 online.
 
Booking for a Saturday is limited to full golfing members.
 
  • The timesheets will be open at 09:00 via the Club electronic Booking System on the Club website (www.bryanstoncc.co.za) or APP.
  • Bookings in person or telephonically can be made at the golf department from 6:30 – 17:30 Tuesday to Friday, 08:00-16:00 on Mondays  and from 6:30 – 17:30 on Saturday and Sunday each week. The Golf Office number is 011-021-1992
  • Time Sheets may reflect block bookings for member groups or corporate golf days.
  • The Standard Timesheets for summer fields are scheduled off the 1st and 10th tees as follows and are in operation from 1st September – 31st March:
    • 18 Holes:                                          06:30 to 08:38 and 11:22 to13:14
    • Twilight Golf 9 holes PM Field:        15:54 to 16:18 (Golf Carts returned by 18h30)
    • Sunrise Golf 9 holes AM Field:         05:14 to 06:10 (Tues, Wed, Friday)
  • The Timesheet for winter fields are scheduled off the 1st and 10th tee’s as follows and are in operation from 1st April – 31st August:
    • 18Holes:                                             6-46 : 8-22: 11-14:12-50
    • Twilight Golf 9 Holes PM Field:        15-38: 16h02 (Golf Carts returned by 18h00)
    • Sunrise Golf 9 Holes AM Field:         No Sunrise golf in winter.
Depending on weather, the change over from summer to winter timesheets may be gradually adjusted.
 
Correct booking methods and restrictions of the timesheets
All details of the player must be entered onto the electronic booking sheet this includes;
  • full name,
  • contact numbers and if possible,
  • an email address.
The Club electronic booking system recognises either membership numbers or surnames.
On completion of entering the player’s details and selecting a tee time, the Club system will automatically forward a confirmation email to all players.
This confirmation will include details of:
  • tee time;
  • date and
  • number of players.
The entering of PTN, ANO or guest is not permitted on the timesheet.
No guests are permitted on Saturday mornings and afternoons due to the high demand for tee off times from members.
Guests are permitted during the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday).
Guests needs to be accompanied by a member on Thursday pm and Sundays. The same guest may only be invited to the Club a maximum of twice per month, regardless of which member invites the guest.
 
Cancellation Procedure                                                                                                                                               
The cancellation procedure for all bookings will be strictly monitored. All booking cancellations will be accepted no later than 48 hours in advance for weekday timesheets and 96 hours in advance for weekends,  of the tee off time booked. Cancellations made within 48 hours / 96 hours prior of the booked tee off time will be charged, whether or not members have a playing card. No Cancellations will be permitted online.To accommodate members wishing to play during peak times, and where there are full timesheets, a waiting list will be created on the Club electronic booking system. Individuals placed on the top of the list will have preference. Members will be contacted telephonically to confirm their placement onto the tee sheet.
Members are always requested to place their name on the waitlist as this assists the club in continually assessing demand. To be placed on the waitlist please contact the golf office or email [email protected]
 
No Shows
A member who has booked a tee time for themselves (and any partners) and does not arrive will be held responsible for the green fee charges. If a member has a playing card, they will be charged the full green fee rate for that day. Any no shows charged to the members account during the weekend fields will include the competition fee. Members must adhere to the cancellation policy.
A no show letter will be sent to the member and allows for 24-hour response stating reasons for not showing for your round. The Golf Director will then go through the members reply and take a decision whether it’s a valid reason or not, if the member doesn’t reply to the no show letter in 24 hours the members account will be charged automatically at the Pro shop. A repeated No Show may be subject to a disciplinary hearing, which could result in suspension from the golf course/ club.
 
Late Arrivals
Players arriving on the tee after their scheduled tee time, will, if time allows, must play at the back of the field. If this is not suitable, the Golf Director or Golf Operations staff will endeavour to find a vacant slot. If this is not possible the players will not be entitled to play and will be charged for the green fees. If a fourball is capable of teeing off at the back of the field after arriving late for their tee time and are not able to turn into the back nine of their game due to the start of the next fields play, they will be required to stop playing and only complete 9 holes. Players are not permitted to wait for a late player or try delay tee off.
 
Sunrise Golf
Members and their guests (maximum of 3 visitors) may play nine holes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning teeing off from 5:14 with 8 minutes intervals until 6:10 from the 1st September until the 31st of March. Members will be required to sign in at the security access control located at the main Club Entrance which must include their membership number, vehicle registration and number of guests.
Golfers are required to leave identification with Security, this will be dropped off at The Pro Shop and can be collected when paying in the shop after completing 9 holes.
Members are responsible for their guests and are requested to give the course maintenance staff the right of way in preparation for the days play.
 
Who may play and when?
All Club members may play as follows:
 
Mondays:
  • Course closed for maintenance unless otherwise notified
  • The Club may on occasion reserve our course for a corporate golf day.
  • During December the course is open on a Monday.
 
Tuesday to Sunday our course will be open unless course maintenance has been scheduled in advance and members have been notified.
 
Tuesdays:
  • Members, Member Guests and guests for the day may play.
  • Tuesday school – All members are invited to join the Tuesday school. Tee off is just after 11:00 on Tuesday. Contact the Golf Office for more information.
 
Wednesdays: Thursdays:
  • Members, Member Guests and guests for the day may play in the AM field
  • Pro Shop Competition PM Field – Members and Member Guests (Maximum Two guests per fourball)
Fridays:
  • Am Ladies Competition -  All ladies are invited to play in the pre-allocated tee-times.
  • PM Field – Members, Members Guests and Guests for the day.
Saturdays:
  • Saturday mornings and afternoons are reserved for Club members only due to the popularity of the field.
In exceptional circumstances, should there be availability two days before the Saturday and no members on the Wait List a member may request a guest on a Saturday Afternoon.
A request must be made to the Director of Golf. Permission will be requested to the club captain for his approval.

Sundays:
Club members are permitted to invite guests to play golf on Sundays.
Sundays are popular for nine-hole rounds in the afternoon, so booking is essential.
 
The mixed invitation is hosted on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Times are blocked off for this event. Contact the Golf Office to enter.
 
The Club Manager and/or the Golf Committee may relax these conditions depending on:
- Course Utilisation
- Financial interests of the club regarding the hosting of Corporate/Social days.
- Other special occasions such as the Festival of Golf or Charity Events.
If the course is not available for play to Club members due to corporate bookings or the hosting of a major tournament, the Club will endeavour to ensure tee times are made available at other courses at reciprocity rates for affected Club members. Please contact the Golf Office for assistance.
  
Green Fee Payment
All Club members and guests are required to register and pay in the Club Pro Shop. Golfers are to inform the Club staff member of their member number, tee time. Club members are to produce their membership cards confirming membership whilst visitors are to produce their handicap cards from their home Clubs in order to open golf rounds.
Reciprocal rates are only available to Full members of Clubs who have entered reciprocal arrangements with the Club.
Payment for green fees, golf carts and caddy vouchers may be processed by credit/debit card or charged to the members account if they have funds available.
 
Players must request a voucher which is required when hiring a caddy or cart.
 
Prizes:
The entry fees for the Club competitions are collected at the Pro shop. Club competitions are hosted on Thursday afternoons, Saturdays and some Sundays. Entry into the competition is compulsory.
Prizes are awarded by the golf captain or his representative. Pro Shop vouchers or the prize value is credited to the prize-winning Club member’s top-up account. The Club and Pro Shop will communicate monthly with Club members to ensure that they are aware of any credit balances they have at the Club and Pro Shop. Results of all competitions and pay-outs will be displayed on the Club notice board after each competition as well as the website.
Details of visitors winning prizes are recorded and these guests may collect their winnings directly from the Club Pro Shop if not present at prize-giving.
The Wednesday and Friday ladies golf competitions are organised by the ladies golf committee. The competition fee is collected in the Club Pro Shop and allocated to the ladies golf committee. The ladies golf committee allocate prizes and prize-giving’s are hosted after each competition. Prizes are to be collected from the ladies golf committee.
Major Club competitions are hosted by the General Manager, Golf Director and the Club golf committees. Competition fees are collected at the Pro Shop. The competition fees collected are allocated at the discretion of the Golf Director / General Manager and Golf Committee towards prizes.
Golf functions hosted at the Club by corporate and other societies, organise their own prizes. Members and guests are reminded that there is an upper limit to the retail value of prizes which can be awarded or accepted by amateur golfers. Amateur golfers may not be awarded a cash prize. Breach of these rules would be viewed seriously by the Central Gauteng Golf Union (CGGU) and could result in the loss of amateur status for the individual golfer or loss of the Club’s affiliation to the CGGU. Please be aware of these restrictions, if in doubt please consult the Golf Director or Club golf day co-ordinator for clarification and assistance.
 
Hole in one’s
Members achieving a hole in one and having entered the club competition will be paid out R 2000.00 from the club. At prize-giving the golfer is expected to ring the bell in the main bar and offer his fellow golfers a complimentary drink. The Golf Director will issue a Hole-in-one certificate and a bronze hole-in-one plaque that will be mounted on the Bar. Ladies will have their name recorded on the board in the bar
 
Club Rules and Regulations
All Club members and their guests are expected to uphold an exceptional standard of behaviour at the Club. The key regulations governing the behaviour of Club members and their guests at the golf facilities are:
  • Respect : All Club members and guests are expected to respect one another as well as the management and staff at the Club at all times.
  • Dress Code :The dress code must be adhered to at all times. We at Bryanston Country Club request that players are always in recongnised golf attire, This excludes sweatpants, running attire, or tattered clothing. Shirts must be tucked in.
  • Cell phones : Cell phones may not be used on the golf course. Except in the case of an emergency, e.g. medical assistance being required. Inside the Clubhouse or halfway house, Cell phones may be used for non-verbal, silent communication and in a manner not to disturb others.
  • Drinks in the Changing Room :Drinks and Glasses or bottles are not permitted in the changeroom.
  • Golf Club Storage Club members may, for an annual fee, store their golf bags, golf clubs and trolleys in the Club storeroom, subject to availability. An additional charge will be allocated to members with electric pull carts which require electrical charging.
The Club is not responsible for any items lost, stolen or mislaid under any circumstances.
  • Complaints or Suggestions All golf related complaints or suggestions must be submitted in writing directly to the Golf Director or Golf Captain. Complaints may also be recorded in the Captains log book kept at Captains table. These will be referred to the Club golf committee who will endeavour to resolve each matter. Every complaint is taken extremely seriously.
If the complaint is of a serious nature, the Club Golf Committee’s disciplinary committee will investigate the incident. The parties involved may be asked to attend a meeting to give their version of the incident.
The Club Golf Committee’s decision is final and resolution of serious golf related incidents may take the form of:
- Recorded reprimand
- Suspension of Handicaps (for a period)
- Suspension of membership from the Club golf section (including the Clubhouse and golf courses) for a period of up to three months and/or loss of official handicap.
-Serious offences will be referred to the main committee for further investigation and disciplinary action.
The Club golf committee may summon any Club member to a meeting regarding the breach of Club discipline whether or not a complaint has been laid by a fellow Club member. Such breaches may include improper dress code, use of foul language, misbehaviour on the golf course, abuse of Club staff including course marshals, conduct unbecoming of a Club member and persistent slow play.
 
Captain’s Log Book
A captain’s Logbook has been placed on the members app to provide constructive suggestions. The suggestions received are reviewed weekly by the Golf Director and Golf Captains and if necessary are referred to the Club golf committee (golf related suggestions).
 
Captain’s Table
It is required that if playing with the men’s Golf Captain, one should wear a jacket and tie at prize giving. Please note that the captain’s table is reserved for him and his guests on competition days.
 
Guests
Club members are responsible for their guests and their guest’s behaviour at all times. Guests must register at the golf registration desk on arrival. No person may play as a guest more than twice a month regardless of which Club member introduces them.
 
Score Entry
All Club members are expected to record their scores for handicap purposes whether played at the Club or elsewhere. Scores must be entered within 24 hours after the completion of the round. Any scores entered outside this time period will be subject to a penalty round determined by the HNA (Handicap Network Africa) system. Rounds played outside of South Africa may be entered outside the 24 hour restriction. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure these scores are properly recorded.
 
Golf Carts
Golf carts may be used for Club competitions including the monthly medal.
Golfers may hire golf carts from the golf department, subject to availability. Bookings for golf carts are open 15 days in advance for weekday golf and 8 days in advance for weekend golf.
Golfers are required to complete and sign an indemnity form confirming that:
- The Club takes no responsibility for any injury
- Golfers are responsible for any damages to the golf cart during their use of the golf cart.
- Golfers are aware of the rules and regulations related to driving a golf cart and are in possession of a valid driver’s licence.
Trail fees are payable for all golf carts brought onto the Club property by members or guests. (Two seaters and one seaters) Permission must be obtained from the Golf Director.
The use of golf carts may be restricted from time to time by the Golf Director should their use be considered detrimental to the courses e.g. Wet playing conditions/ Heavy Rains. There may be no more than two occupants for a two-seater golf cart i.e. no overloading or standing on the back of the cart will be permitted.
 
Rain Shelters
Rain Shelters are provided on the golf course for golfers, caddies and any other individual who may be on the golf course. Players are advised to take note of the notices displayed in the shelters, regarding their use. Club members are reminded that the rain shelters on the courses are not considered adequate in all-weather situations, and individuals choosing to remain out on the course during a storm delay after one long blast of the siren, do so at their own risk.
The club may not at any point send out Club staff to collect individuals in the shelter after the lightning siren has sounded for dangerous conditions.
 
 Lightning
The Club has a sophisticated computer lightning warning system. When the siren sounds once, play must be suspended immediately, golfers are to mark their golf ball’s position and seek shelter, preferably at the Clubhouse. Club members who remain out on the golf course after the siren has sounded once, do so at their own risk.
Should play not resume in a reasonable time, golfers who have not teed off  or have played 4 holes or less at the time of the siren sounding once, may apply for a refund of the green fee paid. Golfers that have teed off and played more than 9 holes, are not liable for a refund as per the golf committee. Less than 9 holes played the Golf Director can give you a 9 hole rain-check.
Play may not be resumed until the siren has sounded twice. Golfers not adhering to this rule will be disqualified from the competition and Club members may be subject to disciplinary action by the Golf Committee.
The siren will sound twice to indicate that all is clear for the time being and that play may resume from where discontinued.
The Golf Director or Golf Committee may suspend play during a round for the following reasons:
 
- Imminent Danger from lightning
- Damage to greens or playing surface due to excessive rainfall/hail
 
Lightning Rule, if there is a lightning delay in the am field and the delay reaches a point where it may cause the PM field to not finish. The Golf Director has the discretion to create a cut off time for the am field to turn and continue their round. Halfway house will be made grab and go and all will be done to try and get everyone through.
 
Handicaps
New Members are requested to advise the Club Membership Secretary should they wish to be handicapped through the Club via the National Handicap Network System (HNA). The Club will register new handicap profiles or transfer current handicap profiles for new Club members. A new handicap card will be ordered and the Club member will be contacted when the card is available for collection.
Players have the option to enter scores either via swiping their handicap cards at the HNA handicap terminals located at golf clubs or through the HNA website (www.handicaps .co.za). Only full Club members may hold their handicap at the Club. The Golf Director will also assist members to enter their scores when requested to do so.
All rounds played in South Africa must be recorded. If scores are not entered within 24 hours, the HNA system will automatically record a penalty score.
The Club Golf Committee may, via a handicap committee, review Club member’s handicaps and entries. The handicap committee will present details of any discrepancies viewed on Club member handicaps to the Club Golf Committee who will sanction any action which may be required.
 
Local Rules
Local rules are printed on the back of the Club’s golf scorecards. Any additional local rules will be posted on the local rules board positioned adjacent to the Club Pro Shop.
 
Caddies
The Club offers the independent services of Club authorised caddies to Club members and their guests. Caddies must be engaged through the golf registration desk and caddy master. Golfers are required to pay for a caddie ticket at the golf registration point which will include the caddies’ halfway meal and drink. The minimum caddy fee payable directly by the Club member/guest to the caddy will be posted on the Club’s local rules board adjacent to the Club Pro Shop.

Sandbags
The Club’s Golf Committee may enforce that Club members and their guests carry and make use of sandbags to assist in golf course repair and condition.
Club members are encouraged to fill divots on the course. Caddies are required to carry sandbags.
Sandbags are available from the Pro Shop, Golf Directors office or starters located on the tees.
 
Bunkers
Club members and their guests are responsible for ensuring the bunker is raked after completing their shots out of them. Bunker rakes are provided at each bunker and should be placed in the bunker with the handle out after raking.
 
Litter
Bins are provided for litter throughout the golf course. Players are requested to discard all rubbish into the bins provided. Smokers are requested to please throw all cigarette butts into the litter bins.
 
Slow Play
Players must always endeavour to keep to the allocated playing times as listed by the Club. Players are to keep up with the group ahead of them and always adhere to the course marshals. The course marshals are employed to minimise slow play and ensure the Club and golf etiquette is being upheld. Abuse of Club marshals and starters is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
Pace of Play
The maximum time allotted for the completion of 18 holes at Bryanston Country Club is 04h30. The following procedure applies if a group is “out of position”.
1.         The player/group will be warned and given the opportunity to make up the time.
2.         The player/group will be put on the clock, if unable to make up the time they may be asked to skip a hole or have HWH as a grab & go.
 
Pace of Play
Suggestions to prevent slow play:
- Plan your shot whilst walking up to your ball or whilst others are playing
-Line up your putt whilst other are putting and be ready when it is your turn
-Be ready to play when it is your turn
-Walk briskly between shots
- Walk directly to your ball, don’t follow or continue talking to fellow golfers
-Assist in a search for a lost ball briefly then continue to your shot
- Play a provisional ball if uncertain of the whereabouts of your first ball
- Leave your clubs in the quickest position to exit the green after putting
-Exit the putting green promptly after holing out
-Pick up if you cannot assist in your teams score for the competition.
 
 
Members Practice Facility
The practice facility is reserved for Club members only and for guests to utilise before their golf round.
The facility is available on a first come, first serve basis and Club members may, at times, must wait for an open bay. The practice facility includes the driving range, clubhouse, hitting zone for a full selection of clubs, the chipping green (with bunker) and the putting green. Buckets of balls for use on the driving range are purchased directly at the driving range.
The facility is open in summer.
1st September – 30th April from 06:30 – 18:00, Tuesday to Friday, and from 06:00 – 18:00 at Weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
During winter
1st May – 31st August from 06:30 – 17:00, Tuesday to Sunday.
The practice facility is open from 12:00 – 18:00 on Mondays.
 
Golfers using the range are reminded to take particular care or to cease practicing temporarily, when Club staff are collecting balls. Golfers are also to be cautious of hitting golf balls onto the first fairway on the course.
The lightning warning system also applies to golfers using the Club driving range or other practice facilities.
PGA certified teaching professionals are positioned at the driving range and offer lessons to all level of golfers. The teaching professionals engage in clinics and group lessons which are hosted at convenient time periods or during school holidays for junior golfers.
 
Junior Golfers
Junior Club members over 16 may participate in regular Club competitions, monthly medals and major Club competitions provided sufficient space is available for full members to reserve a tee time and permission has been granted by the Club Golf Committee.
Junior competitions are scheduled for the last Sunday afternoon of each month. Bookings for the competition are made through the golf department. A junior Club championship is hosted each year and is played over 18 to 36 holes on a Sunday.
The club hosts 3 junior days throughout the year and will consist of a clinic and golf.
20 minute one on one lessons for juniors are currently provided free of charge on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday afternoons by the Club teaching professionals. Details for the lessons may be obtained at the teaching academy or Golf Office.
 
Leagues
Both the ladies and men’s golf section actively participate in the CGGU league fixtures. League games are scheduled during the week and weekends for ladies and during the weekends for men. The golf leagues cater for all levels and ages of golfers.
League dates and information can be obtained from the Golf Director.
The Club hosts league fixtures throughout the year.
 
Reciprocity
The Club has established reciprocal agreements with Clubs both locally and internationally. These reciprocal agreements are for the benefit of Club members travelling both nationally and internationally. The Club Membership Secretary will assist Full Club members in good standing to make use of this benefit.
 
Club members are required to obtain a letter of introduction from the Club Membership Secretary before travelling. An updated list of reciprocal clubs can be obtained on the Club website. https://www.bryanstoncc.co.za/About_Us/Reciprocity
 
Course Maintenance and Repair
Club members and guests are requested to assist in golf course maintenance and repair. Players are requested, as a courtesy to other fellow players, to kindly repair their pitchmarks and rake bunkers after their use. Players are expected to fill their divots on the fairway and assist where course maintenance is scheduled on a daily basis, however, it may be required to close a course for a period of time for additional green keeping practices e.g. hollowtining. If such procedures are required or scheduled, the Club will send out notices via email and advise members.
 
Club Knockouts
Yearly knockouts are scheduled for both the men’s and ladies golf sections. Entry forms for the knockouts are released around September of each year and include both singles and betterball knockouts.
A draw for each knockout is completed with the matchups and dates posted on the respective Club noticeboards and on the website. The format for the knockouts is Matchplay and the winning match proceeds to the next round until a winner is determined.
Rules governing the knockouts are placed on the Club noticeboards. Any guidelines or challenges must be discussed and agreed in advance with the Golf Director.
 
Other playing notes
The Club reserves the right to amend the guidelines and rules contained herein under certain conditions eg: in the best financial interest of the Club, for specific Corporate Social Responsibility events and other Club social events.
Except as laid down in these guidelines and rules, it is never the intention of the Club to deny members their opportunity to play golf at their Club.
 
Golf Etiquette
Guidance regarding golf etiquette:
- Always play without delay and keep up with the group in front of you
-Do not move, talk or stand too close to a player making a stroke (playing)
-Do not step on another player’s line of putt
-Do not play until the group in front is out of the way
-Shout a warning if your ball may hit someone – “fore”
-Repair divots on the fairways and pitchmarks on the greens
-Smooth footprints in the bunkers
-Do not drop clubs on the putting surface or lean on your putter
-Replace the flagstick correctly after completing putting (in an upright position)
-Leave the golf course in the condition you would like to find it
-Scorecards must be handed in immediately after completing the round
- Do not litter, collect any litter you find, there are dustbins at each tee, please use them.
 Golf carts should be driven on cart paths as far as possible and must 10m from all Tees and Greens.
 
Golf cart etiquette
To protect the golf course, members using carts are requested to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Where possible carts paths should be followed
- Carts should not be driven near:
  • The sides of the tee boxes (10m)
  • The entire front of the green (within 20 meters)
  • The sides of the greens or between the bunkers and greens (10m)
  • The tops of mounds alongside the greens
  • Wet or muddy areas after rain or watering
  • Highly worn areas or bare ground
  • The tracks of other golf carts
- Excessive acceleration and braking are not permitted
- Carts should not be in motion or line of sight of other players about to play a shot
- Carts should be left at the exit of the green, towards the next tee, away from the playing surface
- Players are encouraged to use only two carts per four ball
 
Golfing Events
Men:
  • Monthly Medal – Individual Medal.
  • Medal Finals - (Monthly Medal Winners qualify for special prizes) in November.
  • Douglas Trophy – Fourball alliance played over Saturday and Sunday.
  • President’s Cup - This is a 36-hole medal event, Foursomes in the am and betterball medal in the pm round.
  • Phoenix Trophy - This is the premier tournament of Bryanston Country Club. Fourball alliance played over Saturday and Sunday. Qualifiers normally take place in September.
  • Chairman’s Challenge – Individual Stableford over two consecutive Saturdays
  • Club Championships –The event will be played over 36 holes, 18 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday
  • Christmas Mixed - fourball alliance played on a Sunday
  • Plover cup - 12 couples gets invited to play a match against CCJ
  • Men vs Ladies - An annual tournament held on a Sunday afternoon in conjunction with the Monthly Mixed.
  • Wally Stafford – Mixed Betterball  played on a Sunday in conjunction with the Monthly Mixed.
  • Family Trophy – The Competition is played as a Betterball Stableford event with any family combinations
  • Inter Club Challenges - Annually matches between Pretoria Country Club, Wanderers and Country Club Johannesburg are held on a home and away basis
  • Bowlers vs Golfers – Bowlers will have a putting comp against the Golfers and the golfers will take on the bowlers on the bowling green.
  • Tuesday School vs Ladies – Betterball Stableford format
  • Thursday Pro Shop Comp - The Pro hosts a competition every Thursday which is usually a Betterball Stableford competition
Ladies:
  • Captain vs. Vice-Captain – a Team from current Captain and a team from Vice- Captain plays a Betterball Stableford competition against each other.
  • Bunnies vs CCJ
  • Club Championships
  • Silver and Bronze Trophies played in the weekday
  • Bogey Trophy - Individual, Better Ball, Alliance (3 or 4 Ball) competition
  • Bunnies Tray - Presented at the Wednesday Ladies Christmas Competition to the player with the best average of STABLEFORD SCORES over the preceding calendar year
  • BSG Trophy - This competition is only to be played on a Saturday morning. This is a Betterball Stableford knockout competition
  • Ladies Captain prize - Individual Stableford event. Hosted by Ladies Captain and Vice.
  • Invitation Mixed – Fourball Alliance normally 2nd Sunday of each month
  • Ladies vs Tuesday School – Ladies take on the Tuesday School play in a Betterball Stableford Format
  • Phoenix Trophy - This is the premier tournament of Bryanston Country Club
  • Coronation trophy – matchplay event
  •  Medal finals Trophy
  • Watersmeet Trophy - Matchplay. Alternate shots from the tee until the ball is holed out.
  • Douglas Trophy - Fourball alliance played over Saturday and Sunday end February
  • Wally Stafford Trophy – Mixed Betterball played on a Sunday fourball alliance played on a Sunday
  • Plover trophy - 12 couples are invited to play a match against CCJ … alternating between the two clubs annually
  • Special Trophy - 18 holes medal plus extra medal.
  • St Patrick day trophy - Individual Stableford played in three-balls as close to St Patrick’s Day
  • Bogey Trophy - Normal Bonus Bogey Competition.
  • Bunnies Knockout – Matchplay event
  • Christmas Mixed - fourball alliance played on a Sunday end of the year
